Tara has an extensive knowledge of sustainable design and green products. She earned her Bachelor’s of Interior Design and minor in Architecture from the University of Idaho where she was first introduced to her passion. While attending, a team project won one of six spots internationally to exhibit at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair on the concept of Embodied Energy. She furthered her knowledge while working for green building supply companies where she assisted clients with product selection and developed a product guide to assist others filter through the mass amounts of misinformation.

When it’s estimated that on average we spend 90% of our time indoors interior design becomes a large influence in our overall health and well being. Tara enjoys interior design and her ability to make a difference in other’s lives.

Tara has lived in Idaho most of her life but has had the opportunity to travel to other countries which inspired her interest in design. In her spare time, she enjoys grabbing a book and blanket on a sunny day, working on her amateur photography skills, and indulges in her weakness for period piece movies and PBS shows like Masterpiece Theatre.
